Comfort starts under the floor.
Heating, cooling and crawlspace work for Tacoma homes and small businesses — because in houses this age, half the comfort problems live below the floorboards.
Houses and the shops between them
Homes
- Furnace and heat pump repairs
- Ductless and ducted replacements
- Crawlspace ducts, insulation and vapour barrier
- Filtration before smoke season
Small businesses
- Shopfront and suite systems
- Ductless for rooms with their own hours
- Maintenance with a record per unit
- Exhaust and make-up air
Cold floors, musty air, high bills
Tacoma's older houses sit over crawlspaces, and so do their ducts. Torn insulation, disconnected boots and a vapour barrier that gave up thirty years ago cost comfort every single day.
Tick the symptoms you recognise and we'll tell you what we would look at, in order.
The work, without the sales pitch
- RepairsDiagnosis first, price in writing second, and an honest answer about whether it is worth it.

- Crawlspace workDuct repair, insulation and vapour barrier, done properly rather than patched.
- MaintenanceOne visit a year on a heat pump; two where there is a furnace and cooling.
Before you call
Why are my floors cold when the heat is on?
Often the ducts under the floor: torn insulation, a disconnected boot, or a crawlspace that is open to the wind. Our crawlspace page puts the checks in order.
Do you do crawlspace work yourselves?
Yes, the HVAC side: duct repair, sealing, duct insulation and vapour barrier. Structural work and standing water belong to other trades and we say so.
Ductless or a ducted system?
If the ducts under the house are sound, keeping them is usually cheaper. If they are not, ductless often costs less than rebuilding the duct system.
Do you work on shops and suites?
Yes. Small commercial: shopfronts, studios, clinics and offices above shops, including mixed-use buildings.
Will I get a price before work starts?
Yes. Repairs are priced in writing after diagnosis, and larger work is proposed in writing.
